Spaulding ranks in top ten for 8th straight year

BOSTON - Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital has again been recognized as one the top rehabilitation hospitals in the country, achieving a rank of #5 in the 2011 US News and World Report 'America's Best Hospitals' issue, achieving its highest score to date. Spaulding continues to be the only rehabilitation hospital in New England ranked each year since 1995.

Spaulding's ranking on the US News reputational survey has climbed steadily since its initial appearance in 1995, and Spaulding has placed in the top 10 each year since 2003. In addition to its national rankings, US News now ranks hospitals in 94 metropolitan areas across the country. These metropolitan area rankings include a combination of acute and specialty hospitals. Spaulding was included in the top 10 hospitals in the Boston Metro area, ranking #8 on the list. Spaulding was the only rehabilitation hospital recognized in the Boston Metro area.
